Employee accused of stealing $82,000 in lottery tickets from gas station
A 52-year-old female employee was arrested by the Pennsylvania State Police for stealing what could be up to $82,000 in lottery tickets since December of last year.
State police have not released the suspect's name. However, Steve Limani, the public information officer said this is an ongoing investigation and authorities are looking to uncover the woman's motivation and if she had an accomplice.

Banking agencies seek public comment on strategies to combat payments fraud

The agencies are seeking public feedback on five potential areas for improvement & collaboration.

Safeway and Albertsons workers go on strike in Colorado
Workers at Safeway and Albertsons stores in four United Food and Commercial Workers Local 7 bargaining units in Colorado—Estes Park, Fountain, Pueblo, and the Safeway Distribution Center in Denver—commenced an unfair labor practice strike on Sunday, the union announced.
The strike could spread to stores throughout the state, according to UFCW Local 7 President Kim Cordova.
The strike comes after protracted contract negotiations and a strike authorization vote in early June that was approved by 99% of union workers in Denver and unanimously in several other Colorado cities.

More than 100 additional Rite Aid locations have been designated for closure as the retail pharmacy chain continues to navigate its second bankruptcy filing.
With the latest list of stores, outlined in court documents filed last week, more than 700 stores have been designated for closure since May.
The seventh round of closures includes Rite Aid stores in nearly a dozen states, though most are in California, New York or Pennsylvania.
Like others before them, these closures are pending court approval and could face objections.
