Waller sees stablecoins advancing in retail

Federal Reserve Governor Christopher Waller sees potential for stablecoins in retail payments, but they need regulatory oversight and scalability. While currently underused, companies are starting to integrate stablecoin acceptance into their systems. Waller also highlighted their potential for cross-border payments and in countries with high inflation. However, the lack of a federal regulatory framework remains a significant hurdle.

WOW – that title certainly forced me to read your ‘MY TAKE!’ Human behavior has always fascinated me, so I found your piece enlightening. I not only agree with you that an Employee Awareness program is valuable, but in my opinion, it is the best tool we have to communicate our LP messaging directly to store-level employees. Nice work on this! – Brendan P.

I have read Dan Ariely’s book and found it fascinating. It is crazy to think that so many people cheat in the studies you pointed out. I guess that’s why they say, everybody has their price.” Pretty sad, but great article. - Anonymous
